    So, Back Again
Yeah, it's been a long while. Don't ask why, I'm not quite sure. Possibly it's due to the amount of time I spend on myspace. Whatever.

I rented Flatout this week. Pretty fun, if your into the whole racing-until-you-run-into-a-tree-then-go-flying-out-of-the-windshield thing. But, it is fun, especially the high jump bonus feature. That is insane.

Other matters, Track is offically over and done with. Monday was the State championship meet, and we had a whole 5 people competeing. Yeah. Well, here's how I did at the end of the season: 55 dash-7.88, 55 hurdles-10.72, 200 dash-28.59, long jump-15'2", 4x2 relay-1:54.29, total points-14 1/2. Pretty good if I should say so.

And that's about all that's begging to come flying from my mind right now.

    Something for someone
I got some comedy stuff on LimeWire, of which was Weird Al's "The Saga Begins". I immediately thought of Vimesy with some of the lines. Mostly the following:

    "A long, long time ago
    In a galaxy far away
    Naboo was under an attack
And I thought me and Qui-Gon Jinn
    Could talk the federation into
Maybe cutting them a little slack
But their response, it didn't thrill us
They locked the doors and tried to kill us"

"And the Jedi I admire most
Met up with Darth Maul and now he's toast
Well, I'm still here and he's a ghost
I guess I'll train this boy"

Yeah, it's kinda far out, but yeah.

Oh, something that's somewhat important, I've started writing my own fanfic. For details, leave a comment, cause I have like 5.

    Much Stuff
First off, I may not be updating for a while. My dad just about went nuclear when he found out that I had a LiveJournal, thus I'm not supposed to have one. Like someone's gonna find out some damaging information about me, or stalk me after reading my life.

Second, the meet last week went fairly well. I have to admit I was freaking out before the hurdles, but I actually did better than I thought, and I didn't come in last. However, I haven't practiced hurdles at all this week, so I'm a bit apprehensive about them this week. Also, tommorow will be the first meet in a while that there will be no guys 4x2. Thus, I'm doing the hurdles, long jump (which I've neglected for the 4x2), and 200.

Third, I've rediscovered Way of the Samurai. Yeah, old game, but it's at least fun to me. You get to play as a samurai, getting to do whatever you want in a pass that's under extreme stress due to feuds. That includes either being virtuous and living up to the samurai code, or going on slaughters, or simply bad-mouthing everyone you see. I still have three ending to get, and a lot of swords.

Fourth, I've discovered a pretty good Metroid sprite webcomic. Yay! I've been needing another webcomic other than 8-bit theatre. It's called Planet Zebeth, though if you have no idea where the name came from, you should probably step away now, and not visit the site, you poor soul.

Fifth, I made a track cd! I'm pretty happy about it, though one song suddenly ends abruptly. Oh well. It has songs from bands like Def Lep, The Who, AC/DC, Survivor, The Doors, Pink Floyd, and, of course, Aerosmith. If you haven't heard of any of those I suggest you immediately get out from under your rock and live a little, or a lot!

    Me and my Naked Teeth!
Yeah, that's not sexual. Anywho, I got teeth without any metal on them! Yep, I got my braces off after almost 25 months. Yeah, so now it feels like my teeth are naked, but it's ok.

Yeah, enough about nakedness and my teeth. I'm going to do hurdles tomorrow night, without blocks. Yeah, I'd start with blocks, but I think I might die, cause I haven't practiced hurdles with blocks yet. Apparently I'm pretty good at hurdles, though I believe that's only looking past my complete lack of form. Hey, I can get over the hurdles, can't I? So, because I'm doing hurdles, I'm not doing long jump, which is a shame, since I set a new season PR last meet, but I want to do another event. Who knows, maybe they'll only be one other hurdler!

On to more depressing news, things in my house are starting to boil over. Yeah, we've been taking care of my cousins, don't ask, and now it's been at least strongly hinted that they're going to be out tomorrow. It's a shame, since one's not even a year old. Oh, he's okay now. The doctors with their infinite wisdom couldn't figure out what was wrong. My baby cousin is a medical mystery!

It's been a while, so yeah
First off, track news. I will officially become the only guys hurdler for Skow-town High this Friday. Coach, Corbin that is, allowed me to go over the guys height last Wednesday, first using the junior guys, then the senior guys heights. Was I scared of that? Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't, since I'm not too fond of getting racked. But, I didn't, and Coach said I did pretty good, not considering my complete lack of technique. In my search for the meet results from yesterday, I found out that there were a whole 2 senior guy hurdlers, thus I could have scored 6 more points! Am I psyched at the prospect of scoreing more points? Well, duh! My events for next meet are: 55 dash, 55 hurdles, and 4x200.

Also pertaining to track, the results, which I won't post, since LiveJournal sucks and screwed up my nice formatting. The entire team did pretty good, and I'll have to admit that Tamara was right, and it was an awesome meet. The guys actually outscored the girls, though the girls placed higher. Personally, I broke my season PR in long jump, with a jump of 15' 2", and came in first in my 55 heat. The 4x2 came in third, I believe, with a time of 1:54.29, which I ran my part in 28 something! Yep, that would have been another PR broken, but I don't count the 4x2 times with my 200 times. Which reminds me, I'll probably not be competing in the 200 for the rest of the season, rather do the 4x2 since I actually have a shot for points.

Oh, speaking of the 4x2, Kasey took a pretty nasty-looking tumble at the finish line for the girls' 4x2. She ran the last leg, and was doing awesome, then all of a sudden she goes down and tumbles across the line! Yeah, that scared some people. Apparently she's ok, only some track burns on her knees, side, and elbow. Even with her swan dive, the girls came in second, I believe.

Ok, that's about it for track, on to other matters. Tomorrow will be my last full day with my braces! Wednesday they're coming off, during mid-terms, thus I had to reschedule my english mid-term. I believe I'll be a bit late to the appointment though, it's at 10:30, the first mid-term is over at 10:05, and it's in Waterville. Oh well, I believe my mom called and told them already. So, Wednesday I'll start chewing gum again, for the first time in 2 years!

Speaking of mid-terms, I have the following schedule, if anyone cares:
    Tuesday: Class-Anatomy, Mid-term-Physics, Class-German, Mid-term-Trig
Wednesday: Class-Study Hall, Mid-term:Gov. Leave for braces off!
    Thursday: Mid-term-Anatomy, Mid-term-German, Mid-term-English
Friday: Not going in(Mid-term-Study Hall, Mid-term-Physics lab)

And, my baby cousin is now in Bangor. He has pnumonia(can't spell!), or something, and Skowhegan isn't equpied for him, I guess. So, I'll sitting at home alone, except for our dog. I hope his okay.

Happiest Days Of Our Lives, or not
Yeah, if you are one of the few that actually knows what that title came from, then your mind isn't completely corrupted, so give yourself a cookie. To those who don't listen to my music, it's a title of a song played by Aerosmith, minus everything past, and including, the comma.

So, I'm somewhat happier today, since I didn't have to deal with any Michaud crap today. What I did do, or at least the major peak to the day, was dissect a chicken leg. It sounds nasty, but was quite entertaining, and eye-opening. Who knew that chicken legs had so much connective tissue covering the muscles? I guess that could be where all that chicken grease could come from. Yeah, I got to isolate three different muscles, got to use a scalpel in school(:-)), and was shown that my chicken leg might have had another bone in it's leg. It sure looked it, even had wht I've concluded was marrow in it.

That was the height of the day, so on to track practice. I actually had to stop running due to ankle pains, which may or may not have been caused by shin splints. I don't think so, as I don't have shin splints. I have terrible pain in the side of my calves, but that's from my feet's tendencies to turn in a little. So, after "running" for about 8 minutes-ish, I decided that my ankle wasn't getting any better. Thus, I went to ice, and that's about it for track.

I'm now waiting to see if someone, not gonna mention a name, will actually IM me. I gave him/her my AIM screen name, so hopefully I'll be able to talk with her/him. Yeah, that should be good.

    Mein Effing Gott
Ok, explaination of title: track practice today wasn't the best. MICHAUD, for reasons beyond my comprehension, was doing the SPRINTERS workout. Yeah, it consisted of a fugging "sprinter" circuit, which was comprised of 3 minute wall squats, 40 meter sprint repeats, and hopping. So, I started it with no problem, thinking it wasn't a circuit. Boy was I wrong! Into the repeat, of the entire circuit, I started feeling light-headed. Now, for those who don't know, I've gotten light-headed in track only a few times, usually at a meet, never at practice. I tell her this, and she replies by telling ,e to basically get over it while wall squating! I was seriously close to telling her off, and possibly being sidelined for a while. Had I not taken karate and learned self-control, I would have, and more. So, I was wall squating, and I'm visibly shaking due to the massive trembling of my legs, which I know she must have seen, but said nothing about. She asked if I was okay, and I said my legs were on the verge of buckling, which they felt like, and she tells me to sprint! Raise your hand if you really dislike Michaud. Where does she get off telling any sprinter her "workout" when she couldn't even do half of it? It's not right, at least Corbin tries to do some of the practice when she can.

Yeah, so in other, more pleasant news, I have one more appointment for my braces, which will be to take them off! That's in two weeks, which coincidently are also mid-terms, thus I'll have to miss one, since they only schedule the procedure during the fugging day. Oh well, I believe my teacher, whichever one it is, will understand my absence to extract the metal from my mouth.

Yeah, I'm too ticked to want to find a quote.

    Another day in the life
So, I just got back from another exciting track meet. Well, mostly exciting. It seems like long jump hates me this year, I jumped 13'6" down from 14'2.75". I impressed coach with a late burst of speed with the 200, I came in 4th or 5th, it was close. Maybe I met my goal of going sub-29! My 55 was pretty good, though no one ever bothers to time them so I don't have the slightest on my time. Overall, not a bad meet, though a lot of people got injured. Kelly popped out her hip, then popped it back in while sprinting. Yeah, horrible, but she decided to do hurdles anyway. Tamara injured her leg, so she was out of the 4x2. Britny hurt her leg, can'r really remember how, but I know she was icing it.

On to happier thoughts, I recently bought the best Star Wars game! Yep, Battlefront 2 is mine! For those who don't know, you can play as famous/infamous heroes/villains from the Satr Wars universe, fight in space, fight on more levels, get special units for the sides, and get upgrades. I beat the first half of the campaign, and started the second half. You play as a member of the elite 501st battlion, originally of clone troopers, but now storm troppers. I even got to play a level with my dream, storm troopers against clone troopers!

Oh, my results from last meet are: 55-7.95, 200-29.37, long jump-14'2.75"

On another note, I got a bunch of anime for Christmas! Some Inuyasha, some FullMetal Alchemist, and some defective DBZ. Additionally, I got Episode III, which I've already watched.

Yeah, first order of business, I have been accepted, as the first member of my family, to go to college!!! Yep, I've been accepted to UMM! With $3000 scholarships to boot! My Christmas is going to rock now!

Now then, yesterday was the first meet, and was pretty good, considering it was the first meet. The only event I know the result of is the 200, which I ran in 29.06! I met my goal of going sub-30! My long jump wasn't up to par, my best was 14 something, my last 13'3". I have no idea what happened with that. My 55 time I have no idea on, since no one happened to time that.

Yeah, so far my vacation's off to a great start. I hope the same for everyone!

    Oh, Holy Badgers!
Yeah, I'm excited! I'm waiting until tomorrow, after the assembly, to finish my Machias application! It's all done except for the activities part! And I'm overusing exclamation points!!!! ! !! ! Ok, I'll stop.

I beat Disc 2 of Legend of Dragoon. I was surprised when i saw that my next boss fight was the last, and it wasn't really hard, at least not like the Disc 1 boss. It was a sea dragon (looking like a weird dragon/worm/tentacled thingie) and a Wingly turned Dragoon. (Winglies are a species that were created before humans, they enslaved humans before humans teamed up with dragons to wipe out most of the Winglies.)

I'm now doing hurdles in track! Additionally, I'm going to do triple jump eventually, pole vault if my dad doesn't get a hernia thinking about it, and all my other events (55, 200, long jump).

    Hey!
Yeah, it's been a while since my last update. I've been kinda busy, and kinda apathetic. But, now I'm updating, so it's all good.

In the track department, I am now learning the fine art of pole vault planting! You know, the process in which you actually drive the pole into the ground to launch yourself over the bar. Except I haven't seen the video yet, since it's stil AWOL. Yeah, so I'm just planting for standing still and jogging starts. I'm also doing the triple jump! Last year I was pretty terrified of it, you know the whole hop, skip, jump thing just means three times more chance of injury, which is something I do not wish to endure. Anywho, I can still remember the whole process from last year, among all the other stuff from last year that I have no idea how I'm retaining the information.

In other news, I've started playing The Legend of Dragoon Sunday. For those who don't know, it's an RPG in which the characters learn that they can transform into supernatural beings capable of harnessing the power of dragons. I just beat disc 1 Sunday. YEah, it's for the Playstation, not PS2, and is 4 discs. That is a major reason I feel it should be remade for at least PS2, that and to revamp the graphics. They are pretty good for being PSX, but still.

I've decided to limit any speech I may have with females. The reason is simple, whatever I say is almost always taken in the wrong sense. Thus, I will try only to nod and shake my head, with the occasional word here and there.

    Track stuff, mostly
So, I've found out that I've somehow improved my block starts, even though I didn't seriously use them since last indoor season. Yeah, I'm trying to figure that out, too. I guess my muscle memory is really good, or something.

We had a practice run by Michaud yesterday. Holy Pants, don't I dislike those! Run 8 200s with a minute rest between, then run the Bloomfield loop. Yeah, I'd like to see her try that without keeling over. I was really upset that I couldn't start working on pole vault stuff. I really want to wield that giant pink pole!

Black Mage: It would blow your mind to learn that wheels are, in fact, round.
Fighter: Black Mage, please. I can only be blown so many times in one day.
Black Mage: THAT'S it, I'm outta this conversation.
Fighter: Think about it, guys. How do we know Bahamut isn't some dragon BUM whho gets his kicks from hooch and rat tail stew?
Thief: This homeless dragon megaking ultralord was pulling a prank. You know that, right? Did he ask for anything else" Like a bucket of steam, perhaps?
Fighter: Steam in buckets? Thief, you've BLOWN me again.
    Black Mage: Stop SAYING that!

    Continuing my life
I rented Star Wars Battlefront 2 this long weekend. I'll sum up my feelings with this: Yoda, lightsaber, flipping out. Also, I love being a pirate and destroying capital ships from the inside out.

I have learned that when a teacher asks you to take off your hat afterschool, they are acting outside their powers. As you know hats are not to be worn during the academic day, which ends at 1:30. Don't ask why it took so long to dawn on me, I'm not sure.

We got a printer/scanner/copier earlier this week. My mom's doing a project, and we ran out of ink. Our old printer was a Dell, and as such only Dell ink will work, which can only be bought from Dell. Long story short, my mom got fed up and got a new printer.

I really dislike when people interrupt me when I'm trying to accomplish something. I'm the type of person who needs to get it done when I start, or it will never be done on time.

    Update to my life
So, I have now been on the Honor Roll for five straight quarters. Yep, and I finally got my GPA above 90. Go me!

Today, we had a quiz in Physics, and some people made it seem like they needed every question right or they'd never pass or something. I kept trying to tell them they were making it a lot harder than it really was, but would they listen? Nope, of course not.

I rented the game FullMetal Alchemist 2: The Curse of the Crimson Elixer over the weekend, just took it back today. It further re-enforced how much I like the series. If you have not watched it, you really need to get out from under that rock. All this FullMetal Alchemy flowing into my mind has allowed me to create a "comic" based on FullMetal Alchemist, though it would never, I mean NEVER, happen in the real universe of FullMetal Alchemist. I'd spare some details, but I'm not really planning anything for it, it's just writing itself.

What irks me is the whole muddling of Question 1. They HAVE to religion into it. I really dislike that, bringing religion into EVERYTHING. I know it's a personal belief, but doing that borders on pushing your beliefs on others. Question 1 is not about allowing the marriage of same-sex couples, it's allowing the discrimination of that group by employers, landlords, and other people. Marriage isn't even on the ballot!

What everone needs now is to just sit down and listen to some Mellencamp.

    Yeah, but maybe no?
October's gone, and that means one less month spent in this limbo of senior year. I do believe that I'm still on Honor Roll. We'll find out Friday.

Why is it that when a male asks a female if he is attractive, if they aren't in a relationship, the answer is usually something about self-image? If a girl asks another girl, it's perfectly normal. Yet, when a guy wants a female opinion, the subject of self-confidence comes up.

Star Wars Episode III came out today! Along with Battlefront 2!!! If you can't tell, they are both at the top of my Christmas wish-list.

We're now studying astronomy in physics. It's kinda fun so far.

    Halloween and stuff
First off, I've decided to be a soldier just back from Iraq. I'm using my dad's old army fatigues, which fit me almost perfectly. Like I said to Jess and Amanda today, "I'm my dad at my age, just with black hair."

We had a rally today. I've started to dislike them. Firstly, there were no rallies that actually acknowledged either track team last year. Second, the band "draws in matter worse than a collapsed stellar body." Additionally, I find it humorous, to say the least, that our athletics director needs a golf cart to get to the football field!

In other matters, we have started an anatomy project on "nasty skin diseases." I got alopecia, which literally translated means "fox mange", and in layman's terms means baldness. Go me.

    Quote time.

    Go me!
First thing, I was awarded the Foreign Language Department Award of the Month of October! My first thought when Eaton announced this was, "What?! Did he say my name?! Holy Pants!" As you can see, I was really shocked.

I have rediscovered Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies. I even unlocked one of the best planes, the F-22! Too bad I'll never be able to fly the real thing. Oh well, that just means I won't be a combat casualty.

Dan got Student of the Month, and he immediately began to lecture the class. We kinda get the point, or at least most of the people I hang out with do.

The weather sucks. I dislike it with the passion of some insanely large number of Star Wars fans trying to get the very first copy of Episode 3. (It comes out next Tuesday!!!!)

I want this year to be over with! I just want to go to Machias and start with my marine biology education.

No the FullMetal Alchemist is not misspelled, that's the official name of the anime.
